Another step forward. And it’s a big one

  Caixa Capital Risc invests 100,000 euros in Movintracks Last Thursday, an agreement with Caixa Capital Risk was signed, with a shareholder loan to Movintracks Barcelona for the amount of €100,000, which is added to the €130,000 contributed by business angels during the first round of investment, which ended in June. This confirms the trajectory of the product we’ve created, which is already drawing interest from diverse international companies, and which has been put through its paces at various events held throughout the summer, such as Intenz Diagonal (the summer edition of the Barcelona Shopping Night) or the popArb music festival. We’re feeling really satisfied at the moment. And we’re not stopping. This adventure has only just begun...

We’re taking off! A couple of titbits

Since the year began, we’ve been traveling the world presenting Movintracks to top brands and the promoters of the great music, sporting and shopping events of the summer. We’ve done it in London, Paris, Barcelona and Madrid. And we’d like to share a couple of titbits with you. On June 20th we took part in uptown Barcelona’s Shopping Night organized by Intenz along with area shopping centres and number one brands. In conjunction with the Intenz App, shoppers were given exclusive discounts while we recommended social channels for the event and surprised passers-by with an array of different interactions. We weren’t done quite yet, as the following week we pressed the “play” button and went to our very first music festival, popArb, also near Barcelona. An exciting adventure

Movintracks is the first mobile campaign configurator that makes it possible to make decisions by using today’s disruptive technologies, NFC and Beacons (Bluetooth 4.0 – BLE).   The project, spearheaded from Barcelona by a small, young team who were willing to take a risk on these technologies, was launched at the beginning of the year and has now reached cruising speed on a number of fronts: it was presented at the IESE Business School Investment Forum (7 finalists out of over 40 entrants), where the opening of the first round of investment in Movintracks was announced (€170,000); a partnership agreement was signed with AECOC, the association that brought bar codes to Spain and represents major distributors, and now the marketing phase is in full swing following the completion of the development of the first Beta. Last week, we celebrated concluding our first agreement for a major action in Madrid at the premises of an industry-leading retailer :) We want to use this new blog to tell you about an exciting adventure, brought to you from the mobile capital and featuring the technologies that are transforming marketing and contextual advertising for good.
